Prior that, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Faculty of Engineering of The University of Hong Kong (HKU). He obtained his Ph.D. degree at Department of Computer Science of City University of Hong Kong (CityU), under supervision of Wing-Kwong Chan. He received his B.E. degree in Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU). During his undergraduate study, he joined the USI Lab (headed by Kai Huang) and participated in the unmanned vehicle project (mentored by Zhe XuanYuan).

Current Research Interests

My research interests primarily revolve around software engineering, with a current emphasis on the testing and analysis aspects of artificial intelligence (SE4AI & AI4SE). I am particularly enthusiastic about bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and practical applications. My research style is addressing technical challenges of fundamental problems and developing innovative approaches to advance them.

In addition to my focus on deep learning testing, I also have a keen interest in exploring testing in other application domains (e.g., deep learning compilation and Ethereum smart contracts) and applying AI in different domains (e.g., education).

I appreciate the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and welcome opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. If you have a research idea or would like to explore collaborative possibilities, I encourage you to reach out.
